Today I’m sharing a collection of 21 spooky vegan Halloween cookie recipes that all Halloween-loving adults and kids would enjoy! You’ll find fun cookie recipe ideas for all skill levels and tastes, all of them dairy- and egg-free, with a few gluten-free options.

There is a number of holidays throughout the year that have their own themed baked goods, but few of them spark creativity in us bakers like Halloween does.
When it comes to Halloween baking and decorating, sky’s the limit to what we can make: cakes, cupcakes, various bars, pastries, hand pies, tarts – and of course, cookies.
(That’s just the baked goods – if you look at ALL types of foods, like I do in my collection of 53+ vegan Halloween party treats and snacks, the potential for creativity is endless!)
Honestly, food has always been my favorite part of Halloween.
A few years ago I published my recipe for vegan Halloween cut out cookies with sugar glaze.
Aside from being delicious, these cookies are a lot of fun to decorate.
However, making them can be a bit time-consuming. Especially the decorating part because you need to let the sugar icing harden before you apply another layer.
(Of course, you can make these cookies without the glaze! That’ll take you way less time.)
This is why I decided to “broaden my horizon” of plant-based Halloween cookie recipes, and started putting together the collection you’ll see below.
This way, if I’m short on time in the days leading up to Halloween, I’ll still be able to bake up something festive and fun!
What You’ll Find in My Halloween Cookie Collection:
- Cookie recipes for both beginners and advanced bakers;
- Cookies that have gluten and gluten-free;
- Designs varying from cute to seriously spooky;
- Cookies both free-shaped and cut out with cookie cutters;
- Unique Halloween cookie ideas + vegan copycat versions of popular non-vegan Halloween cookies.
Regardless of what kind of cookie you’re going for, all of the cookies on my list are completely dairy- and egg-free.
Make them for a party, send them to school with the kids, or enjoy at home with a cup of tea on a cozy fall afternoon.
So let’s roll up our sleeves and make some Halloween magic in the kitchen!
